Self-Guided Boston Graffiti and Street Art Tours

The following tours were published to give people something to do while we were unable to get together in large groups. While we can do that now, I think these tours are stll fun for people who are unable to join us on a public or private tour. Talking with Rob is a lot more fun than going it alone, but these are still great.

The tour is broken down into two sections. Each one of the sections is going to take something like an hour or an hour and a half, depending on how fast you walk, how many photos you take and how long you ogle the art. Doing both sections would be two to three hours. It’s normally doable, but the current lack of amenities due to COVID-19 related closures might make it more difficult (water, food and restrooms aren’t as easy to come by as they normally are.)

As a note, these routes are just the framework of the tours we run for public and private groups. The real benefit of doing tours with us is having Rob on the tour with you, sharing knowledge, cracking jokes and being able to answer questions about the art in specific and graffiti and street art in general. There’s been a misunderstanding in some circles that these tours are about “secret” graffiti spots or something. As you can see below the tours are all on public roads or readily accessible private property (Northeastern’s campus.) There’s nothing secret on these tours. Which makes it readily accessible for you to do on your own. It won’t be as much fun as touring with us, but should be super fun nonetheless.

If you find this tour fun or useful or just want to make sure this business is around when we can all get back to hanging out together and looking at art, consider buying a copy of my graffiti and street art photo collection, You Can’t Win or sending me a tip via PayPal using the button below.
